 Over the last few years, several Canadian recording artists such as Colin Amey,  Marven James, Whiskey Rain (formerly Whiskey River), Annik Quesnel, Dan Siemens, Don Constant, Vanessa Lavoie, and Steven Mathews have recorded Frozen North Music songs. Our goal is to make this website a place where A. & R. Representatives, Record Producers, Film and Movie Supervisors, Recording Artists, and other Music Publishers can come to find "Hit Songs."

June 2, 2014:  "I'LL SEE YOU AGAIN" was added today.  An emotional song about the loss of a brother, written by Frozen North Music's Bill Osmond and Nashville writers Mike Kuhl and Mike Mitchel.  Before you listen, have your facial tissue nearby.

June 6, 2014:  "HEROES NEVER DIE," a song about the brave soldiers who have fought and died for our freedom, was added today, "D" Day.  Written by Frozen North Music, Creative Director Dave Frolick, and performing songwriter/artist Eric Lambier.  The song was recorded at Studio 515 in Nashville with professional musicians and vocals sung by Matt Dame.  CHECK OUT THE "HEROES NEVER DIE" VIDEO.  Hope you like it!!

 October 1, 2014: "STAY" is an emotional breakup song written by Dave Frolick, Colin Amey, Jon Patterson, and Bill Osmond.  Recorded at Nashville's Studio 515,
featuring Matt Dame on vocals. 

 October 1, 2014:  "WHERE WOULD I BE" is a gospel song penned by Frozen North Music's Bill Osmond and talented Nashville singer/songwriter Mike Kuhl.  The song was recorded at the Bobby King studio in Nashville.

October 1, 2014:  "BUSY LIVIN" is a rockin' uptempo song written by Colin Amey, Jon Patterson, Bill Osmond, and Dave Frolick.  The song was recorded at Studio 515 in Nashville with vocals by Adam Cunningham.  


November 1, 2014:  "WHITE SANDY BEACH," "GOODBYE AGAIN," "WELCOME TO THE WORLD", "REDNECK WANNABE," "A MILLION TEARS AGO," MOONSHINE GIRL" and "DRINK COME TRUE" were added to our song catalog.  The Frozen North Music writing team wrote all songs.  

November 4, 2014: "BUCKET LIST", another new song written by the Frozen North Music team, was added today.  

November 10, 2014:  "BROTHER", written by Dave Frolick and Eric Lambier, is an emotional song about a  soldier who suffered from "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" and, as a result, took his own life.  The song was recorded at 515 Studio in Nashville with professional musicians and singer/songwriter Matt Dame on vocals.  We are looking for a brave recording artist who is willing to tackle this dark subject.  Any comments would be appreciated!

March 1, 2015:  "FREEDOM DON'T COME FREE" was added to our song catalog today.  Writers: Dave Frolick, Colin Amey, Jon Patterson, and Bill Osmond.  Hope ya all like it!  

March 29, 2015: "SUNDAY DRIVE," a new demo from the Frozen North Music writing team, was added today.  Why not go for a cruise and give SUNDAY DRIVE a listen?

SUNDAY DRIVE by independent recording artist Colin Amey was released to a select number of Canadian country radio stations in August 2015.  The song can also be purchased on iTunes. KX 96, Durham's New Country radio, featured the song on the Jerry Archer show on Sunday, August 30, 2015.  Way to go, Colin!

April 17, 2015:  "I'D CHANGE HER MIND," an emotional love ballad, was added to our song catalog today.  The song was written by talented B. C. based songwriter John Gillis.  We dedicate the song to all those who have lost the love of their life and wish that they could go back in time and do things differently.  Be sure to have your tissues handy.

June 24, 2015:  "HONKY-TONK SHAKE" was recently released by artist/songwriter Keith Walker to country radio in the USA.  The song was written by Frozen North Music's Bill Osmond along with Nashville songwriters Mike Kuhl and Keith Sosebee (Walker).  Keith Walker has been signed to a management agreement by Motion Entertainment, Nashville.  In a song contest on a Virginia radio station, Honky-Tonk Shake beat out songs by Craig Campbell and Sugarland. Great job, Keith!!

After 25 weeks on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, HONKY-TONK SHAKE ended at number 29. 

KEITH WALKER has been nominated for Best Country Solo Male Artist and Artist Of The Year in the 10th Annual Nashville Industry Music Awards taking place in Nashville on August 27, 2016. 

GREAT NEWS! KEITH WALKER WON BEST SOLO MALE COUNTRY ARTIST OF THE YEAR AT THE 1OTH ANNUAL NASHVILLE INDUSTRY MUSIC AWARDS ON AUGUST 27, 2016. THE SONG HONKY-TONK SHAKE WRITTEN BY KEITH WALKER, BILL OSMOND AND MIKE KHUL CAME IN THIRD FOR COUNTRY SONG OF THE YEAR. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!

Dave Frolick, Creative Director and owner of Frozen North Music has been spending the past several years writing four murder mystery novels and one children's book. The first novel, "The Cabin" was published in 2016.  His second novel, "Music City Murders"  was published in 2017.  Dave's third novel "New York City Murders" a stand-alone sequel to "The Cabin: A Murder Mystery" was published in 2019. Vigilante Justice, a sequel to Music City Murders was published in 2020.  "The House on River Road" (a children's book) was released in 2019.
